Further to member update on 25 August, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) representatives have reached out to each container stevedoring operation noting that each have expired Enterprise Agreements and face protected industrial action.
FTA / APSA have subsequently had detailed engagement with the Attorney General’s Department outlining the potential operational and cost implications of ongoing and / or escalated industrial action.
